Next Generation Product
We have developed many second generation products for start-ups. With TruMed we were able to evaluate sites that had been using the initial machine for the past two years. Not only could we see that more storage was necessary, but also that the workflow could be more streamlined.
Research
As well as the research on existing usage, we also had a captive group to test new ideas. This led to a larger portrait display and relationships to bio-readers and bar code readers. The vaccine vial access was maintained below the display mapping directly to the UI.
Revised Visual Brand Language
A cleaner, simpler approach was established, with emphasis on the display zones and vaccine retrieval area. A full chilled drawer was added for partially used or returned vaccines. This could also contain bulk supplies, ready for loading.
Market Success
The new machine overcomes some of the earlier shortcomings – providing a more comprehensive UI and a much larger capacity within the same footprint. TruMed is now expanding the system to include non-chilled storage management.
