Bill Leach joined DDSTUDIO in 2002, and acts as both Program Manager and Trends and Insights Expert. He is also the lead contributor to DDSTUDIO Innovation Camps, a program that promotes education in design thinking and experience design in local schools at both the secondary and college levels.
Bill’s trends expertise is constantly evolving—he works closely with Peclers Paris and PSFK to ensure that DDSTUDIO can apply the latest futures research to all programs. His drive to stay ahead of the curve allows DDSTUDIO to position clients at the forefront of their industries.
As Program Manager, Bill has received certified training in ISO 13485:2003 for medical devices, ISO 14971 for risk assessment and overall FDA requirements for medical devices, and his knowledge of documentation and systems was used to develop supplier audits and our procedures for procurement work at DDSTUDIO.
In his personal time, Bill can be found in downtown San Diego with his wife Sarah and their dog Andre da Giant, attending art events on a regular basis as a member of MOPA and MCASD. Bill graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a BS in Industrial Design. Prior to joining the DD Studio team, Bill worked on the design teams at Compaq in Cupertino, CA and Mitsubishi in Irvine, CA.
